Help!!! P1131

I got the CEL light on yesterday and this morning I pulled a code, P1131. I don't have my repair manual yet, so can somebody please tell me what the code is for. I have a 98 zetec Atx.

I did some research, some say O2 sensor, some say it's misfire, which I don't think it is because this car ain't shaking or stuttering.

O2 sensor is bad. replace it and you should be good to go.

I'll get to it, just for clarification, it's the first oxygen sensor, the one that can be reached from under the hood.

yup, upstream is before the cat and downstream is after ...
