    Question test for LCA's

OK, bear with me. I replaced the struts/springs w/ BAT kit@ 68k. (Now have about 125k). I have also done both outer tie rod ends within last 6 months, and both front bearings have been done within the last 1.5 years. My car is exhibiting a slight "wobbly" feeling while turning. It's not as drastic as it sounds, it's kinda like when the tie rod ends are going bad. Both TR ends test OK. Is there a test to see if the LCA's are going, other than looking at the bushings. The bushings don't look great but they don't look terrible either. I just don't want to get into that if I don't have to yet. Does anyone have a pic of a good vs. bad LCA, or know what I should check next? Thanks for the help, guys.

Although I have much more experience with the 4 bolt arms, it's pretty easy to diagnose bad bushings on 2 bolt arms. The ones (gone bad) I've seen simply pop out of the metal sleeve. If those are the original arms, I'd suggest that IS your problem.

4 bolt bushings are a bit tougher to see.

At 125 original miles they are bad. If they are 2 bolt they are surely bad.

i would also check the inner tie-rod ends. real easy to do. lift up one side of the car. reach in and grab the inner tie-rod between thumb and forefinger and try to move it back and forth. if there is any play then they are bad. however if they are bad you have to remove the rack and tear it apart to replace them. recommended to have a shop with the proper tools and equipment replace them if thats the case.
