Wanted: Taurus gauge cluster

Just wondering if someone local can help me find a gauge cluster for a 98 Taurus. The damned odometer stopped working and I'll be damned if I can find ANY used Taurus parts. One wrecker said he could order in a re manufactured one for 150 dollars! Screw that!

It wouldn't be a big deal, but it is the gf's car and she needs to keep track of mileage for work.

Edit: Hmmm. That's odd that site didn't come up with much. I would have thought Taurus parts would have been plentiful.

Yeah thats what I thought, and than when I try to find something, especially used, seems like there is little to be had!

if you're ever in town, hit the wreckers yards. Taurus's are a dime a dozen, especially in the GTA with so many being used as taxis and lots more being used as private cars in the city.

I'll keep it in mind, but a tad out of the way for me.

Should have gotten to this sooner, but I took apart the cluster again and tried fiddling with it and got it to work again. Only problem is it is set back 10K kms. Oh well I hope it stays working!
