Diff struts = little more drop ?

I was told that some struts (St200) to be exact. have the balast. (where your spring sets) about a 1/2" lower, thus lowering your car an extra 1/2"... if this is true i was wondering which struts do infact have the lower balast.

i have H&R's with what i believe to be stock SVT struts. and i'd like to replace the struts and get the extra 1/2" drop.

only other option is intrax springs, those being a .4" more drop front/back but i'd like to run H&R over Intrax if the strut thing is true ? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

yes it is true the st200 struts have the spring purch lower then standard contour struts ...

I'm not sure if that's true or not. I've got a set in the garage and i'm almost 100% sure the perch is at exactly the same spot. I remember having them side by side next to the stock struts and IIRC they're exactly the same height. Definitely not any noticeable difference...

You may want to double check on this one. I know it says it in the FAQ but I believe it's wrong.
