Default A few final paint prep ?s

Basically, Im finishing up a few misc. projects and Im about to take them in to get a few sprays of black. Im looking for your opinions on what the best grit is to sand with pre-paint on a few different pieces.

Mirko- Ive sanded with ~320, should I use 400 or more? I honestly cant remember what I finished with before.

Rear reflector- Dont want to leave scrapes, maybe 400?

Front oval- Same as rear reflector (both plastic)?

Anyone? Last night I tried 400 on the bare front oval and it felt a bit too fine.

I wouldn't go any finer than 400. It needs to be rough enough to provide some "tooth" for the paint to grip. If you have any deeper scratches, subsequent coats should fill it in. Save the higher grit paper for your finishing process. The 320 grit should be perfect, 220 might be a tad too coarse.
If home is where the heart is, then I'm out of place.
