    Default Short Throw Shifter

I'm thinking about modifying the stock shifter to have a shorter throw. I don't wnat to mess with my original shifter in case things don't work out and I want to change back.

If it works out as conceived, I'll post the modifications for others to reference.

Does anyone have a stock shifter they would like to donate to the cause?

Derrick Malcolm and I shortened our stock shifters by cutting the threads off, cutting the middle of the plastic reverse lockout by the same length, using a two-part, plastic "super glue" to glue the shortened lockout back together, and then topped them off with MOMO shiftknobs.
