On some occasions I'll hop in the car and push the clutch in and it goes straight to the floor with zero resistance. I have to "pump" up the clutch pedal until I get any resistance and then only at the very bottom of travel. After driving for a little while and the engine/tranny warms up, then I get the full clutch pedal. WTF?

2K SVT, 134,000 miles. Original clutch as far as I can tell. I'm second owner.

Sounds like either the throw out is going bad or the slave under the dash.

the slave is part of the TOB, the master is under the dash.

I would start with bleeding the clutch. if that doesnt help then i would check to make sure the master is moving fluid when you move the pedal. you will have to disconnect the fluid line from the slave/TOB on top of the trans and then have someone push in the pedal. if fluid comes out in a solid stream the master is good, if it doesnt then there is either a block in the line or the master is bad.

Good suggestion. If the brake system was flushed, as you mention, that might have allowed air into the system if someone stepped on the clutch pedal at the wrong time.
