    I understand you rebuild the MTX 75???

    I just finished my 3L swap and I got in the car to start it and pushed the clutch in and it goes way to easy to the floor. There is no resistence like there usually would be.

    When I pulled the engine and tranny the car was in reverse. I disconnected the shift cables and manually move the shift tower counter weigth to put it in nuetral to get the tower out. The car is stuck in reverse.

    Do I need to go back to the shift tower and put it into reverse??? Which way would be reverse? Towards the driver side or pax side?

    Also, the black plastic part on the large shifter cable looks to have cracked. I have read that there is a spring in there (???) and wonder if I need to replace the cable bracket or the whole cable?

    I am worried about the car being in reverse. I should have put it in nuetral from the beginning. I hope I didn't mess it up.
