Looking back at Spring Zing!

I know this sort of thing has been done before but why not do it again? Post some memories from your experiences at Spring Zing. I'll start!

Meeting up for the first time. Watching them roll in, shake hands, and then everyone splits off to take a dump right in front of me.
Relieving oneself in the bushes during night parties with fifty people standing not far from you.
Driving to Walmart at midnight telling teenagers to PIIHB. Don't even spit on it.
Having the local PD tail us while we pac-man our way to the local car show.
Having every mechanical mind under the sun watch me try to swap an o2 sensor.
Winning a big prize from the Banquet raffle.
Winning lowest horsepower award at the dyno. LOL!
Stalling out and watching Pete keep driving. Cussing while I walked back to the hotel LOL. Meeting Mark for the first time when he drove me back to my car.
Making it back to the hotel, and having three or four guys push me into the parking lot when I stalled again. LOL.
Steak N Shake. We don't have those in WNY so that was cool.
Rooming with four people and making drunken Star Wars character impressions when we went to sleep.

There's so much more but that's what I came up with real quick. How about you?
 
Driving around in circles with a texican in my trunk at the hotel :laugh:.

Getting completely lost in Fort Wayne and driving around for 2 hrs trying to find the hotel again

Getting lost on the way back from the drag strip SZ06 and randomly meeting SVT Pete in a restaurant and following him back to hotel

Or him dragging one wheel a 1/4 mile at SZ05 because he forgot to release the ebrake after doing a burnout (while hitting god knows how fast). I've never seen a skid mark that long or a tire with a flat spot that bad!

I'll start with a couple of mine... there are so many that I would probably crash the site again if I tried to list all the wonderful/memorable times I've had at SZ.

The Dukes of Hazzard maneuver of 2000.
Getting outed, and realizing that it really didn't make a difference! (2001)
Red, Red Wine... tastes fine off pavement as well.
The Vagina Plate.
Mike Westrate's purity.
Gilmore... just the entire place. It's more than just the beautiful cars, it's a place I feel utterly at peace.
The Anatomically Correct Henry Ford... also Henry Ford in Carbonite.
The HLA Sienna, complete with free candy.
Playing innocent to the hotel manager, "I'm sorry to hear about the divots in the pavement"... then checking for cameras in the back of the hotel.
Ft. Wayne having the spa (Contoure) right across the street from the dyno shop.
 
Gilmore was awesome. I had a great time there. Remember the waitresses at the diner there? hahaha

The first year I know of that we didn't have SZ was the "national meet" in 2003.

2004 had a small SZ in MI. There were shirts and everything!
2003 didn't have a SZ, although there was talk to try to have it in Nebraska.

and that pic just reminded me that we renamed ScubaSteve as "cropduster" because of his Arby's gas. holy hell!
He killed an entire room while we were trying to watch the shat is bananas video of the chick tossing one out her vag into another chick's mouth (which became the theme song to that SZ).

Oh yeah, my bad. That supermeet year should say 2003..... You are right.

I have the 2004 SZ t-shirt.
