Anyone up this way that needs anything, Contour related or not, due to the tornado's post here and I will see what I can do. My work sent four 50KW trailer mounted generators, boom trucks, etc. about an hour ago. Each truck has chainsaws and the related stuff for hanging aerial fiber optics. I saw several AT&T Wireless (and a couple solid white without logo's) mobile tower trucks headed up I44 thru Tulsa this morning, so they should be there & set up already.

I can donate to the red cross or similar, but get personal satisfaction in knowing my help goes strait to those who need it.
 
Tip of the cap to you for offering this up to anyone in the area! I'm sure the pics we've seen on tv do it NO justice, horrible:shocked:
 
Last weekend June 4 I took up 180 sheets of 3/8 plywood that were slightly damaged on one corner. These were to be used for boarding up windows, doors, patching roofs, etc. I am sure they were put to good use. Dropped these off at the Bordertown Casino at Exit 4 on I44. A Seneca (baptist?) church group was gathering supplies in the parking lot. Didn't drive into Joplin because I've seen more than I could handle already on the TV.

If anyone up this way owns a storm damaged Contour or Mystique, I have a complete 98 parts car-- if you need windows, doors, lights, fenders, interior, a hood, trunklid, or moonroof glass, email me and they are yours - free. I wouldn't expect most to fully insure a 12 year old car. Everything is in good to excellent condition. I have a truck and will deliver, meet, and help install. PM me if you are bashful. My wife would like to see this car go away sooner rather than later.

I am NOT looking to sell these parts, but if somebody NEEDS them, let me know. I plan to haul this car off to LKQ by the end of the summer if possible. (junk engine)
 
The company I work for has a vinyl siding plant in Joplin, We have been collecting supplies here and shipping them down to help out our co-workers. Luckily all of our employees and their family members have been accounted for, we sent search crews out to look for everyone until each person was accounted for.
 
I would like to thank you guys for the help. I don't live in the city of Joplin but Webb City is connected to the north side of Joplin and I work/shop/live in the city and have many freinds who were affected by this tornado. It sure renews hope in the human spirit to see that people from all over the country have taken the time to think of us here.
