The facility will be located less than 30 minutes drive from downtown New Orleans. Activities at the facility will include Club driving, track days, high performance driving schools, club racing, and Kart activities. Club type tracks are relatively new in the United States and NOLA Motorsports Park will be in the top tier of such facilities.

Both courses can be combined into a 4.8 mile road course, which is one of the longest in North America. The karting track is 1.2 miles, designed to international karting standards. The track designer is Alan Wilson of Wilson Motorsports. Construction is underway, operations are scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2010.
