Svt Clone?

Email sent...

Hey I figured I would tell you being as you asked...

That is by far not a clone, please check out what a real CSVT looks like, here is a link.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/1032823157.htmlhttp://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/103282157.html

as well here is the diff in the reg. and svt

Reg. ~2.0 4cyl, and 2.5 6 cyl auto and basic 5 spd trans
SVT ~ 2.5 High output Probuilt V6 w/ Spec 5 spd trans
Reg. ~ basic body
SVT ~ Front and rear bumper changes, as well as side skirts to match
With Cross mesh grill
Reg ~ cloth inter. maybe leather in the higher model
SVT ~ Leather inter. with Diff. formed seats for better hold
Reg ~ steel wheels or some basic alum.
SVT~ SVT alum. rims
SVT~ bigger and better braking up front.
SVT~ more sporty supspention all around
SVT and higher reg models, sun roof

As well what ever that is on the hood its not an SVT thing, althoug i think it looks ok, but no svt came with it, didnt see any SVT badges on it but that would be the only leg. svt thing it would have, so i would NOT be stating is a clone by any means....

Good luck on the sale, And if someone does show interest in it, tell them they can buy the one in the like i sent you for the same price but would get MUCH more...
btw, not to be an ass, but really? $4000? Do you guys even check Blue Book on cars? that car with its milage and body books about 1400 and i think you might get it if the person really needs a car.
Good luck on the sale.

Hey Wired how much do you want for that teal beast on flat tires in your pictures. I heard that was closer to being an clone car than that burgundy contour.

I clicked into the seattle craigslist autos for sale, and there are now TWO REAL SVTs for sale up there for LESS than what this a$$wipe wants for his "clone" (or was that clown?).

yeah... but notice the racing stripes on the hood. that adds about 56 whp. also it took me a second look but the fender is all effed up... and if thats the side they are showing... it must be the better side

My e-mail response/exchange to that seller, including his name and e-mail addy:

(his last response:)
I am happy that you didn't, but please be an adult and keep your negative
comments to yourself. Thank you.

You should be happy I did not post on the Seattle area CL, with a heading of
"look out for phony overpriced 'clone' ads."
As if used car dealers did not already have bad enough reputations, but then
you have to go lower the bar even further.
Talk about UNTRUTH in advertising. How do you sleep at night?
Has the economy got you down, bucko?

Congratulations. I'm sure that message made you feel good inside. Have a
nice day

Are you kidding me?

I can buy a REAL svt for less than the car in your silly ad.

You must be banking on the "sucker born every minute" routine, but you're
making an ass of yourself.

Good luck getting even $2000 for that zetec automatic.
