Is it an E0? Crank position sensor wiring did this on my E0, would work fine for weeks at a time and then would just sputter and die. Next day back to normal.
Its an E1. I'm not quite sure what I plan on doing with it right now. Due to it just sputtering out on me i don't know if i can trust it to be driven long distances. I will look at it later this summer after i try my hand and some minor surface rust repair.
I say let's throw in a 3l and call it a day. If you want to bring it by one of these weekends I can take a look at it for you not saying I'll know any better than you but I'd like to see your car anyways.
