Anyone out in the NE-CEG know how to install a 3l?

Im looking for an installer that would cost less than the $1,000 my mechanic quoted me.

I live in lancaster, PA and i can lend a hand to make it easier
 
Your sig says aircougar performance.. are you talking about yourself?
I could probably drive it there, even though the engine is knocking a bit.

how much does he charge?
 
Hmm.. Ive seen 3 other Svt contours.. no T-reds, 1 Silfro, 1 Silfro with blue striping down the center, and one Green
 
Definitely, that is once my car is running again lol.
If we wait till the spring ill be either turbo or supercharged, havnt decided yet.:shocked:

Aircougar is Greg and he lives in MA. BrApple is Brian and he is in CT. Brian has a 3L in his SeVT that was installed by Aircougar.

Knocking a bit? MA is a long drive, might be better to trailer it there if you could.

I don't think you'll find to many shops that are willing to do the job or have ever done this job so if you can get it to Greg, that's the way to go.
 
PM Aircougar.. I def recommend him. He did my 3L swap, My buddies 3L swap soon to be my other buddies 3L swap.

and my soon Tranny Swap....

Greg is a great person. He has helped me several ways and several times... He also does not charge much for the 3L swap. I will not post or inform prices.

I PM'd aircougar on here and NECO, so ill just wait and see what he says.

The knock isint too bad.. my other one was terrible before it blew..so i dont know it will be a risk, maybe ill just tow on a u-haul dolly :shrug:
 
Agreed, thats why mines been sitting in my driveway for about a year, but thankfully im just starting a new job for the union and dont have many bills

Come buy I work for Geek Squad. Greg will more then take care of you. I actually went up there with a nice knock. Turns out I was misfiring.... After all the saving and buying stuff... UGHHH.. i said ON with the 3L swap...

wow thats crazy you work right there.. my bro lived right off patterson plank road, at the end by trolley park, but just moved yesterday to miami.

I'll have to stop in there next time i come up, hopefully you'll have your svt with you though.
 
Getting excited... i have all the parts of my build, except the motor which is being built right now :laugh: Going to Paint the headers now.:eek:

Oh and it seems im going to be in bethlehem for some time now, im working on the steel mills property... building the new casino
