it was an E0, we passed on it because the guy wanted too much $$$ and had some repairs needed... oh well, we'll keep looking!

originally $3,500

he dropped to $2.9k after we showed him the KBB "excellent" price of $2.9k
lowest he would go is $2.5k - but the transmission needed work... and didn't want to start out upside down in ownership... with 180k on the clock, probably the last time that car would trade hands...

made a slight change in plans...

2000 Mustang 3.8L V6 5-speed

He saved up for it himself - 145k miles, very clean - had it inspected at a local Ford garage and all it needs is the brake fluid changed...

It runs very strong, and we've test driven several of these - fortunately the auction house held the car for us since it was about a 90 mile drive - people were pissed that we showed up and ended up having to buy other cars LOL

not too shabby for $4k

oh and before you ask - insurance only goes up ~$101/mo
