I recently picked up this fiberglass splitter from a local near Seattle. It already had a crack in the upper corner, and when I went to install it the fit seems to really be challenging.

Not sure how old this piece is, or if there were a few design changes????

Anybody have some hints on better ways to make it fit?

how about showing us how it fits on the bumper on the car?

Also that is not an original Mirko fiberglas splitter, they never had the wrap arond ends.

Check out the Extreme Dimensions Duraflex Splitter GB thread. It states the difference between the ones he (SVT4STV) sold. If the fitment is a little off on the face and the wrap arounds extend too far, it is what is consider a "Blem" version. Simply cutting off/down the wrap arounds will help the error on the back side. As for the front "best fit" is all there is with out some auto body involved.

CSVT#49 has a fitment thread in P&V also

It should also be noted the non blems from ED have a very tight fit around the back. Takes a bit of stretching and tugging to get it on (or t least mine does)
