Since it's cold as f**k outside I had one of my friends to do the work on my car. Well the car is way too low for any lift or jack I decide to take the side skirts of to make it easier for him to put it on a lift, and also not to ruin them.
I'm not sure if this is how they are actually secured in place but all that was holding them were some plastic retainers and screws at each end of the skirt. When I removed them I was left with only two clips that can be reused.
I went and got a few plastic retainers, the only problem that I’m having is that the ones that you find at any auto parts store are really weak, I mean they will snap really easy.
What are you guys using? I’m looking for some ideas on what I can use instead of the plastic retainers.
