If you look closely in the last pic, the bottom lip of the trunk lid is still F'd up. He probably just sprayed some rust converting primer on it or something, and it blends in because it's black.

why would you go through all that trouble and still leave rust on it? its just gonna eat right through it again. anyways it does look a hell of alot better then it did before thats for sure.
100% agree. Unless he just wanted to do a repaint for a quick sale.:shrug:

Depends on how you treat the paint during the year. Swirl it up again with bad methods or dirty products and you'd be unhappy with the paint in a year or so.
