Has any one put a 7" motorized flip-out head unit in the CSVT? I have one and want to put it in but not sure if it will open all the way dew to the heater controls..

Is that unit just not pushed in all the way? I'm interested in the same thing as the OP. Trying to add in dash nav.

depends on the unit. you may need to lock the mounting cage out a couple notches to give room for it to flip up. Regardless you will not be able to use your ac/heater controls. There was also a couple members in the past that moved the heater controls to the center console and mounted a flush double-din in the dash.
