I'm throwing this out to check interest.

My father owns and runs a Performance Transmission shop here locally.
We've been in business for over 10 years, and have been building transmissions for over 30.

I spoke with a few suppliers and could get a few deals worked out.

As of now, they don't offer a delux kit, they only offer Master O/H Kits.
Which the delux kit will come with these aditional parts that the Master doesn't offer; Filter, Band, Thrust bearings, bushings.
Everything is needed to do a complete rebuild, besides hard parts.

Also what would be part of this kit would be a Transgo Shift kit;
Shift Kit® - Corrects Runaway Pressure, Broken Parts, No Lube.

If interested please select propper option on poll.
I'd perfer to get about 10-15 people interested.

What price range is expected? I am going to be rebuilding my trans this winter and was planning on getting a shift kit and sonnax valves.

not to put a damper on things, but this was posted back in September. I wouldnt expect much unless he reads the post.

I'm still here alive and kicking.....

I've got to call my supplier about getting a estimate price on the kit.
They have to make a special delux kit for the CD4E because they don't offer deluxe just M/O (Master Overhauls).

So I'll get ahold of my guy and get a price back to you guys as soon as I can.

I was gauging towards hopfully 10 people being interested, but I'll see what I can swing w/ the supplier and what deals he is willing to work out :)

What would be the cost of installing this kit?

Cost would depend on your local transmission shops labor rate $$$ Anywhere from 40-70+ an HR.

Also determining factors would be if you pull the transmission, or if they pull the transmission.

I can get you a price on installation w/ them pulling it, and w/ them not pulling it, ill prob get that you guys tomorrow!
