DO
  1. You must be registered for 60 days to post in the classifieds.

  2. Ads must include a price and location.
  3. Ads must be FS (for sale) or WTB (want to buy). No "feelers."
  4. When an item is sold, post "Sold!" in the topic. This will signal a moderator to lock the thread.
  5. You may post eBay auctions or Craigslist ads only if they are YOURS. Include the list price, location, etc. Posting just a link to the auction will be deleted.

  2. Replies should be relevant to the item. Do not chatter.
EXAMPLES: If I were closer, I'd buy it; GLWS; If you decide to ship it, I want it; If you decide to part it, let me know; I've seen this car in person.

  3. After an agreement has been made, all shipping talk should be via PM. You may put shipping options in the original post.
  4. Do not post negative comments about an item. If somebody wants $20k from a Contour, let them try.

  • WTB: Want to Buy Rear stabilizer bar

Doing some restoration of my 99 SVT and am in need of a new rear stabilizer bar. Would prefer one of the larger aftermarket bars if anyone has one laying around.

I have a stock SVT rear bar you can have for shipping. It's flat, so I can wrap it in a sheet of cardboard and slap a label on it. It's very clean, looks new, not a spec of corrosion, and I might have the body mounts and bushings if I paw around in some boxes.I might have some PRT endlinks too, they're yours if I find them.
The stab bar mounts on the rear subframe are subject to fracture and tearing off, and if the subframe has any corrosion, it just happens faster. A larger aftermarket bar will just accelerate the fracture and tearing process, so make sure your rear subframe and bar mounts are in good shape.
