all four doors swapped out, passenger front still needs sanding.

got the tinted glass reinstalled.

pulled off the iac, egr, throttle boddy,maf cleaned them all trying to track down the high reving, it helped a little but not much, it happens mostly on these really hot days. idea's?

I heard that taking out the MAF screen is not a good idea. The screen "straightens" the airflow which passes over the MAF wires less scattered, giving the MAF the proper output.

I too have noticed throttle hang on hot days. Typically after the engine is hot. I think these IAC valves are just poorly designed...
 
The car looks totally different! Keeping the exc. SVT bumper? Looks like Chris is selling one on craigslist if you need one... might be the one I traded him for a header panel and 2 doors.
 
Yes, its quite true that the screen SHOULD be in front of your MAF sensor. Does it inhibit overall performance? yes and no. the MAF sensor is designed around having the straight airflow through the honeycomb to get an accurate reading. Whatever you might be gaining on the top end for overall intake is being (most likely) lost due to input on the MAF sensor.

Any reason you swapped out the doors?

as far as the maf screen goes, i have taken it out of many many mustangs and other cars and never seen anything bad, the gas mileage always goes up, the car runs better with more power.

i swapped the doors cause the ones on it were starting to rust on the seems and had a good amount of dents, and these ones were perfect.

OK, so how does it run now? If they served no purpose they wouldn't put them in...
