Would like to know if a 1998 contour headlights will fit my 1998 mercury mystique before ordering it looks to me as if same shape but I'm not sure ..lost

no they do not just look at them. Just about everything fits, unless it's aesthetic.

The grill is different, so the headlights won't bolt right in ( unless you change the grill ). Contour, Mystique, and Cougar share the same underneath except a few parts.
