Yeah, I've just cleaned the stock sock and re-used it. If you aren't planning on a turbo or supercharger, just get the GSS250. The GSS317 is nice but complete overkill for a naturally aspirated car, plus it's loud and can cause fuel aeration when you get below 1/4 tank. (The return fuel blasts back into the tank and churns up a bunch of air which gets sucked up be the pump. That cause the car to sputter.)
