Greetings guys-

Has anyone ever used a passenger side Zetec ENGINE MOUNT (POLY) from a Focus or ZX2 on a 2.0 Zetec in your contour or Mystique? I have been researching my options, after my Ford Motorcraft engine mount broke and after replacing that with rockauto aftermarket junk and having severe vibration issues, i need HELP!!! It seems the 2000-2004 Focus and ZX2's all have a huge aftermarket mounts for there models that have our beloved zetec engine, so why cant we utilize there mounts?. Here are some companies i found online, has anyone used them on there cars with success.

Thanks Anthony

I would recommend cross referencing oem or aftermarket part numbers on a parts website like rockauto or autozone.

IE loop up motor mount for a 2000 focus and a motor mount for a 1998 contour. Is the part number different? There is your answer.

Hey Beans, Thanks for reply. I did that on rockauto, it comes up w a diff part number. Sometimes parts are the same, and can be used, just has a diff part # due to the year and make. At the end of the day, these parts are all utilized by ZETEC engines, just has me wondering....
Thanks Anthony

Man the Zetec performance forum is dead. To follow this up, dusting off my memory caps... IIRC, the 98+ Zetec, the timing cover bolts, I bolted up to the Focus mount. The problem is the fender side. BTW, I wonder how they screwed it up with the aftermarket part. It's pretty basic.

Also, the problem that I had was the transmission side, in my ATX. Mounts went bad and ATX hit the crossmember.
