New CEG'er
Hi guys,
1996 Zetec with 125k miles. Here's the issue. Drove home on Friday from work without incident. Haven't needed my car until today, and it won't start. It's got plenty of juice, the battery is 1 year old and the starter seems fine because it cranks away strongly. It won't start though.. I notice that my gas gauge is a little under half a tank, and it reads that value even when the car is off.. I can't recall if thats standard procedure for my car, or if the gauge swings to the correct value once the car is started?
My best guess would be that the car is not getting fuel. I have been pretty busy, so if the gas gauge broke and I'm out of gas, I may not have noticed. Of course it could be fuel pump, or something else, right? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Regards,
Dylan
