Can someone post a picture of the stock intake with the intake resonator circled? I think I know what/where it is but I want to be certain. I would just look at my own car but I won't have it back from the shop until tomorrow afternoon.

Well on my Zetec, the intake resonator is pretty obvious. The main portion of it is to the left of the battery. I didn't think the newer Zetecs had a resonator.

Now if your talking about the air intake plenum, its on top of the TB.

On 98 model the big plastic air plenum on top of throttle body (zetec) I believe serves as resonator. You're looking for any space where pressure waves can go into added space (usually close ended) to bounce back and break up other waves, or be absorbed to reduce resonation and noise. Intake tubing does not have that big separate dogleg like the earlier zetecs did.
