Precat to Y-Pipe Exhaust Leak

I have an exhaust leak under heavy acceleration (but nice and quiet the rest of the time), and I believe it is at the front precat to y-pipe connection. I want to get replacement gaskets for those two joints. Is the first one below the right gasket to get? I have a feeling all 3 below do the same thing, but I'm not sure.

So that connection should be metal on metal? I cranked the bolts down with a 1/2" breaker bar, made no difference.

What is the typical location for an exhaust leak on these cars? The flex pipe connections look good, can the flex pipe itself develop a leak?

Oh, yeah. That's the first place I would suspect. That, or the gasket between the flex and the Y. The flex has gaskets on both sides of it.

Both manifolds connect to the Y with kind of a bubble flare, no gaskets used.

Ok, good to know. I'm trying to figure out a good way to isolate the problem, but it only happens under load. I'll take another look at the y-pipe.
