If I take out the resonator in my car will I be able to pass emissions also will I increase horse power or loose power I no that the sound will increase some one help thanks a bunch
I don't think deleting the res would affect emissions. Might gain 1 or 2 hp. Not only will the sound increase, but it will drone and be very raspy. If I were you, I'd cut it out and replace it with a glasspack. It will sound much better.
Don't remove the resonator unless you are planning to replace it with something. As stated previously it will just make your car raspy. Also, it provides no discernible increase in power.
