Just added exhaust to my car last week and I'm VERY happy:

Exhaust type-- custom
Manifolds/Headers-- stock
Y-pipe-- SHO shop with gutted cat
Resonator-- 2.5" Edelbrock rpm series (straight through design)
Mufflers-- 2 magnaflow 'resonators/race mufflers' 2.25" w/ 2" core

Volume# 4-5/10

Notes: Was a pretty straight-forward install. Connect the 2.5" out of the gutted cat with 2.5" SS to the 2.5" muffler and should be a center in/offset out to replace the stock resonator. Needed to lose the factory heat sheild to fit/tuck well, connected to the factory 2.25" around the tank and used the factory rear Y to the tails. Needed to modify passenger tail to fit the muffler correctly.
Used 3.5" polished 304 SS tips from Ebay (very nice). I'll have some pics next time I have the car on the lift (forgot it when I picked it up :mad:).
I can get the part numbers I used if anyone wants.
Car is not very loud (as I was hoping) but is MUCH deeper and does not drone on the highway (thankfully). Picked up a solid 1mpg on the highway also and no SES from the gutted rear cat.

okay its a trubendz catback that was cut right before the back tire, i put a custom bent 90 and an oval magnaflow tip.

its rediculously loud but im sure its gonna be louder with headers and 3.0 turbo so im gonna just give it an 8, but for a 2.5 its a 10 cuz i can't imagine it being much louder :)

PS up to 1750 rpms it sounds like an srt-4 with an exaust, with the gurgle, then from their up its pure sex to redline, then if you slow shift it pops and gurgles. IM IN LOVE!

Loudness - 3 but anywhere around 1800-2600 rpms its around a 7, sounds nice from the outside though.

The only muffler is in the stock resonator position. I bought the catback from Thinkmoto a few years ago.

Car has a real deep idle and sounds amazing. Real quiet on the highway and at cruising and sounds beautiful when you get into it.

Volume#- 6 or 7 because it's really loud when I get on it or when I'm putting around parking lots or in traffic and also at idle but cruising at highway speeds I can barely hear it.

Silencers will quiet down the exhaust sound to the point where the Police will not stop you.

10 - for being the loudest
7-8 - with the silencers

Going to complete the exhaust with a center Resonator and BAT Y-Pipe

Clips to come in the future. I have a clip on the exhaust clip sticky...

There is a separate section for exhaust vids etc. This is a public poll so others can understand from others what exhaust they have and what they think it sounds like.
