Exhaust type-- Stock SVT
Manifolds/Headers-- Manifolds
Y-pipe-- optimized stock
Main Cat-- still there
Resonator--10435 magnaflow resonator
Mufflers-- Stock SVT

Volume#--3

Exhaust type-- 2.5 custom
Manifolds/Headers-- MSDS
Y-pipe-- stock (opt soon)
Main Cat-- NONE
Resonator--NONE
Mufflers-- Flowmaster 40s

Volume#--9 just because of the rasp at certain RPM, even without the rasp, its loud as hell.

Friends complain about not being able to talk on the phone...I think thats a plus.

Exhaust type-- 2.5" Tru-Bendz
Manifolds/Headers-- stock Manifolds
Y-pipe-- stock
Main Cat-- stock
Resonator--none
Mufflers-- 1 center magnaflow

Volume# 4? i really dont know

not quite a newbie but here goes

Exhaust type-- chopped up stock 1 3/4" SE
Manifolds/Headers-- stock gutted manifolds
Y-pipe-- stock
Main Cat-- gutted
Resonator-- off brand straight flow through type 1 3/4"
Mufflers-- 2 flowmaster 40 junkers introduced to a broomstick

Volume:
outside: 7 (perfect)
inside: 7-8 (too loud)

it has a horrible rasp at 2K any throttle input. after that it sounds beautiful! its too loud and raspy for a daily driver though.

Exhaust type-- true dual straight pipes
Manifolds/Headers-- Manifolds
Y-pipe-- optimized stock
Main Cat-- GONE!
Resonator--GONE!
Mufflers-- Stock SVT

Volume#-- outside-- 6
inside-- 4

Exhaust type-- Custom 2.25" dual outlet cat-back
Manifolds/Headers-- Stock
Main Cat-- Stock
Resonator-- 18" Magnaflow 10425
Mufflers-- None

Volume#- 6 or 7 because it's really loud when I get on it or when I'm putting around parking lots or in traffic and also at idle but cruising at highway speeds I can barely hear it.
I actually forgot about this thread, please don't bash me for quoting myself but I wanted to do a little comparison between my old and new exhaust setups.
New:
Exhaust type-- Trubendz 2 1/2" dual outlet cat-back
Manifolds/Headers-- MSDS headers
Main Cat-- Magnaflow (part of BAT Y-pipe)
Resonators-- 2x 14" Magnaflow 10416
Muffler-- 1x 14" Magnaflow 12226
Volume-- 7 -- It's louder and deeper now than the old setup. It has a little high-RPM rasp when it's cold, but not bad and it goes away after it warms up a little. It has a little drone, but I don't mind it too much. Overall I like it. It has a deep, mellow tone but it still has some volume to it.

magnaflow

magnaflow

custom y
no res

Exhaust type-- 2inch True dual
Manifolds/Headers-- Headers
Y-pipe-- None i'm running an x-pipe
Main Cat-- 2 high flow metallic racing cat's
Resonator-- 2 18 inch magnaflow resonators
Mufflers--Edelbrock rpm series

Volume#--2.2

Exhaust type 2.5" Galvanized Steel
Headers-Weapon-R
Y-Pipe- Stock (hopefully not in the spring)
Cat- Test pipe/catless
Muffler- Dynomax SS
Resonator- Dynomax

Loudness- 7? Loud enough outside, not annoying at all, and not annoying on long trips.

My car-

Exhaust type-- Bassani cat-back
Manifolds/Headers-- MSDS Stainless Headers
Y-pipe-- BAT/SHO
Main Cat-- High flow universal welded to the back of the BAT Y.
Resonator-- Big Magnaflow
Mufflers-- Bassani

Volume#--8-9
Very loud with quite a bit of drone between 40 and 60 MPH. On the highway, it starts getting pretty loud above 3400 RPM. It didn't seem to drone as much with the MSDS Y-pipe and stock cat that I had originally, and the tone was a little deeper and smoother. I did notice a slight power increase with the BAT Y-pipe over the MSDS.

Starjammir's car-

Exhaust type-- Bassani cat-back
Manifolds/Headers-- MSDS Headers
Y-pipe-- SHO Shop
Main Cat-- None
Resonator-- Magnaflow
Mufflers-- Bassani

Volume#--9-10

MUCH louder than mine at idle. Not nearly as smooth sounding either, but I think that they are about the same volume at full throttle. He has no cat and 3L valves in his hybrid.

No clue why mine is louder but it really is louder. You can def. hear mine over yours Robert at idle. Very interesting. But Bassani is really the way to go if you want to hear a Duratec like they are ment to be heard.

exhaust type

exhaust type

Added borlas years ago, simple installtion, and with the BAT air filter and a larger PRO-M mass air meter I get a great intake sound along with a deeper exhaust note.Still have the stock Y-pipe, for now.Only other contours I've seen at SVTOA events were stock exhaust.

Exhaust type-- 2.5" custom cat-back
Manifolds/Headers-- manifolds
Y-pipe-- stock
Main Cat-- stock
Resonator-- none
Mufflers--a pair of Aero Turbine AR2540i

Volume#-- 7-8

Exhaust type-2" Walker V6 Contour pipeing
Manifolds/Headers-Stock manifold
Y-pipe-None 4 banger
Main Cat-Manifold mount Stock
Resonator-2" factory V6
Mufflers-Dynomax Super Turbo muffler w/bosal "brospeed" tip

Loudness-3 (5 when I punch it)
Tone- Barry White Deep
Cost- Cheap I think the whole set up was $150 or so

Exhaust type-- modified trubends 2.5 inch catback.
Manifolds/Headers-- MSDS
Y-pipe-- Truebends
Main Cat-- Magnaflow
Resonator-- Magnaflow muffler available with the kit
Mufflers-- Dual magnaflow XL 3 chamber mufflers with non resonated 4 inch tips

Volume#--8 when you step on it, 2-3 on the highway, 4.5 at idle... Sounds mean sitting behind the car
Tone-- Barry White wishes he was this deep

I wish I had bought the resonated kit in the first place honestly. However with my setup I have right now its real loud when you step on the gas, but when you are at cruising speeds its barely noticeable above what the stock exhaust sounded like.
