Exhaust Recommendation

I'm looking into getting an exhaust system for my 99 Zetec.
Should I go with a Magnaflow, or straight pipe instead of the res.
Should I go with a muffler or not.
I have listened to sound clips, but still not sure.

depends what you want really...loud or quiet? My car is mid-range between loud and quiet with a straightpipe and 2 magnaflows...
