Would the K&N FIPK intake that is available for the 00-01 Cougar work on a 98-00 SVT Contour?

It looks like it will but I am not sure if anyone has tried it.

It looks like a good system because it already comes with a heat shield and inlet pipe.

Im pretty sure it does work. Its Just way over priced for what you get so I think thats why most dont run them.
