Not yet, and yes I was planning to use a k&n cleaning kit 
just for the record.. i have had my K&N for five years (100,000+ miles). I run it dry and wash it with bubble bath or such like. I still have the original MAF and have never had a MAF related problem. I now have a cold air feed and the filter still cleans up well, dispite the extra dirt and flies that brings (you can see daylight through it everywhere). ...G.
