I am researching a 3.0 swap into my 1999 SE and wanted to see if anybody has tried to use the MPV's 5 speed auto trans in a Contour. Not Sure the stock contour PCM will be able to control it, but it could be a pretty sweet swap if so.

Whats your aversion to driving stick? It just makes a lot more sense not only in this case but in almost all when it comes to performance cars IMO.
the PCM isn't going to be able to run the transmission. And I have a feeling that it might have more or different sensors which are not wired in the Contour PCM making it very dificult to make work.
