Bleeding lash adjusters before cam swap..

Is this necessary? Opinions on the net range from "no big deal, don't have to" to "YOU WILL BEND A VALVE IF YOU DON'T DO THIS!!" Haven't really seen it discussed on CEG though. Anyone who's swapped in SVT cams in their 3Ll have any problems with not doing it?

Never done it and never had an issue on many many cam swaps.

OK, thanks. Just trying to eliminate this as a possible cause of my low compression in one cylinder on my new 3L
