-swap went well with advice from BrApple. I took 4 months to do it working on it only a couple days per week. Took the time to replace gaskets and clean things up a bit. It started and drove just fine, but within 24 hours I blew up the differential because I did not have the funds at the time to get a LSD installed or have the trans built up. I knew of the dangers of not having the trans built, but took the chance because the car had been down for over a year already. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting an LSD insalled or having the trans built because it won't last long without it! Swap was started at the beginning of April 2008 and completed end of July 2008
MODS: K&N RU-3530 with Mirko MAF adapter, MDSD Headers/Y-Pipe, stock exhaust from the Y-Pipe back (for now), Ported 3L with 3L cams, SVT intakes with Bugzuki plates, Painted engine block with high temp silver paint, powdercoated UIM and valve covers, Ford Racing 9mm wires, Autolite double plat. plugs, Tuned by NPG.

I have two 3L contours, And I can defininetely feel the difference in the two cars when driving

-on it's 2nd 3L first on died due to a spun bearing. That one was a hybrid
-motor with 2.5 heads. This latest one is a portmatched with 3L cams and chains. Running with a stock SVT exhaust.

EGR blocked off, Stock Taurus 24lb injectors, MSDS Headers, Test Pipe, TruBendz 2.5, 1x large resonator and 2x small mufflers.
Spec Stage 1 Clutch

Battery relocated
Short Ram CAI, no heat shield
Tuned for 24lb injectors but need more work to get 100% correct.

It runs, but there are few things that need to be ironed out, like an IAC CEL as well as some other misc. things. I am thinking of hooking up the EGR but I am not sure about that yet. It needs to be running correctly before I think about doing that.
