Overwhelmed...

Rate this Entry
I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed with the car lately. There are so many things I need to do, and with my stupid part time job schedules, I have no time to seriously work on it. I've worked almost every day for the past month and a half with the exception of this past weekend. The rear brakes are only half done, and my mechanic said he doesn't want to dabble in modifications . So now I have a couple more things on my list that I HAVE to get done. The e-brake cables need to be replaced immediately, and the brake lines need to be fixed as well! What should have been a cake swap has turned into a slight mess because Ford decides to do something as STUPID as relocate pressure reducer valves between the 96 and 97 year for drum brakes. WTF FORD!?

So here is the list of crap I need to do:
-E-brake cables
-rear brake lines (pressure reducer valve is leaking, so the entire line will likely need to be replaced)
-get front end suspension fixed, my tire wear is UNACCEPTABLE.
-dive into rear suspension...it's been making noise...
-front pads and rotors
-RUST RUST RUSTTTTTTTTT
-paint?
-headlights (I'm surprised I can even see at night)
-strip and paint wheels (I was going to start that awhile back, but now has been put on the back-burner )
-need 2 new tires cuz of my FUBAR'd front suspension!

I'm too poor to do all of this

Ian, your not the only one. I have alot that I still want to get done with my car and its hard finding the time and it gets alittle tiring spending all of that time. I suppose that is why I am driving it more then working on it recently as its so much fun to drive.

It will all come together, just hang in there.
