SVT is not a trim level, SVT is (although today less autonomous then while I was there) an organization within FoMoCo and when saying the name of a SVT Vehicle, SVT comes first. This may seem stupid or not a big deal to some, but it irritates the hell out of me. Maybe its because I worked at SVT, maybe it's because of misplaced fanaticism, who knows. I do know that SVT's are not just another car in the range, be it a Cobra, Lightning, SVT Contour, Raptor, etc... They are vehicles engineered & marketed outside normal vehicle range for a very specific special niche of car enthusiasts. They are not simply cars with different badges and some extra body cladding and reducing them to this level by putting SVT after the name as if that's all it means just bugs the hell out of me!
