Well most are aware of the Spec clutch failure that I had. Well that is behind me and I now have 600 miles on my Clutchnet clutch setup. So far so good.
I also proceeded to up the boost from 8 to 12 psi. That is something else. It finally want to just break the wheels free like all the time. Fuel and egts are good.
now the problem, it appears that the engine is done. I was observing a high rpm/load/throttle/boost hessitation or miss. So I decided to pull the plugs and check them out. The front bank looks good and the gaps where alittle larger then I wanted so I corrected that and went to the rear bank. That is where I ran into some disappointment. cyclinder #1 the plug was black and wet with what looks like oil. The other two plugs where fine. So I adjusted the gap and took it for a drive. Runs fine but now under that high rpm/load/throttle/boost condition its blowing oil out the exhaust. I know there has always been some carbon that comes out of the exhaust but this was definately oil.
The kicker is the car seems to be running great, feels really strong to me. I have some more checking to do so only time will tell.
