well I think I may have an idea of why the instrument cluster will randomly stop working. When it did this last night if I openned or moved the wires attached to the interior fuse panel it would pretty much instantly cause the cluster to kick back on. So I think I need to get under the dash and look for back connections and worn wires. I want to try to tape the harness up more near any points it could be rubbing. I should also unplugg everything and plug it back in and clean connections as needed. I might try swapping interior fuse panels also to see if that would make a difference.
