well it was noticed yesterday that I picked up a nail in the rear tire on the mystique. It in the sidewall so I doubt I will be able to get it patched. So there go two half, perfectly worn tires. All four where in the same shape and had good tread wear. So its way to early to put snow tires on the car so since the FSVTs have shot tires and two of the E0's where off the SevT I decided to put the E0's on the Mystique and the FSVT's back on the SeVT for now. Just a very annoying situation.
so the last two days I have begun working on my NPG rear brake kit. So first I have some trouble getting the bolts on the caliper and bracket to break free. Well as of this time I got all but one caliper slide pin out. But the problem with that is it will not turn at all. It is being so difficult that its starting to strip out. But on the up side I was able to assemble the passanger side. However I found I didn't open up the bracket enough yet. The bracket fits over the caliper off the car but when

That's what I was missing.
The night before I got a P1383 crankshaft position timing retarded CEL and tonight car is kaput. Gave it one key, 2 keys, engine turns once and than that's it.
I honestly don't know what to do anymore, I think I'm going to start looking for another ride, maybe a Mazda 6 GT, but in my heart I don't want to let go of the 'tour; got attached to this damn thing
Its that time of year again, the air is crisp and the cars can breath deeply and run great. This afternoon the SVT is making its way to one of my storage location so it isn't sitting out for holloween. That and I haven't really driven it is some time. So it will get put away for a few weeks then it will be swapped with the SeVT-T after I get a few more things done to it before the winter.
well I think I am ready to say this build up is complete. There are still a few things to tweak and work out but overall the car is running great. It also rolled over 100k miles during the fall meet this past weekend. The car also took Best Domestic at the CCSU Fall Meet Car Show this past Sunday and earned $50 in gas cards. So the last major hurdle this fall will be emissions. Its due in February so like two years ago I am goign to get it done early, just need to install the Cat pipe and swap tunes
