It was a great weekend for the Grape. It now has new OEM struts, new Spicer strut mounts, new Moog springs, and new Dorman LCA's. I'm so far very content with the ride. However, there is still room for improvement! I will be picking up new Moog front and rear sway bar end links as my bushings are shot. Unfortunately, I have inspection this month, and we never got around to tackling the rust issue. Being that I am gigantically lazy, I shall be taking some black duct tape and covering the hole just ...

And so I have some more major repairs . I'm going to be picking up Moog springs all around, KYB struts all around, new strut mounts (and bearings for the front), and also LCA's. Hopefully after I get these fixed and get another alignment, my tire wear problem will be fixed. This is really going to hurt the wallet . I don't even have the money to purchase the parts yet, as I'd like to do allll of these at once. I've finally fallen victim to the control arm bushing/ball joint failure . ...

So my repairs will finally be underway. I finally started getting going on the car a while back doing the headlights, and this week will be the e-brake cables, new O2 sensor, and new cabin air filter. I never really realized how freaking amazing RockAuto was, and was browsing through and sourced some good prices on suspension as well. So hopefully this week I will purchase some NEW suspension and get that installed so I don't drive a monster truck anymore . And then hopefully I can obtain ...

I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed with the car lately. There are so many things I need to do, and with my stupid part time job schedules, I have no time to seriously work on it. I've worked almost every day for the past month and a half with the exception of this past weekend. The rear brakes are only half done, and my mechanic said he doesn't want to dabble in modifications . So now I have a couple more things on my list that I HAVE to get done.
