this past weekend was pretty busy. The weekned started off with getting the SeVT-T to an emissions test. I had fears that it wouldn't pass because of letters that the state had sent out. The letter said an audit was run and they know when people are altering the PCM and that it would need to be corrected or you could fail on site during your next test. Well I figured this was because tuners turned things off and that prevented the self tests from running. Well my tune everything works and runs. ...
well it was noticed yesterday that I picked up a nail in the rear tire on the mystique. It in the sidewall so I doubt I will be able to get it patched. So there go two half, perfectly worn tires. All four where in the same shape and had good tread wear. So its way to early to put snow tires on the car so since the FSVTs have shot tires and two of the E0's where off the SevT I decided to put the E0's on the Mystique and the FSVT's back on the SeVT for now. Just a very annoying situation. ...
well I ended up the last tank of gas in the Mystique at 330 miles the other day. Not as good as I was hopping for but not bad for driving it much harder then I had been but more in line with how I normally drive the car. So I will do this for one more tank to get an average and then try two more tanks driving for mileage.
stock 200k sensor and left and stock 100k sensor on the right ... have to fugure that the rust isn't a good thing ... but it was still working as I had not gotten a cel for the O2 sensor.
well I am not trying to get the best milage that I can this tank but I am 9/4 - 1/4 tank used ~130 miles of "normal" driving, ie not staying below 2k rpm and going 70~75 on the highway. so those plugs, wires and O2 sensor made a big difference. have to see how the rest of the tank plays out. Also I didn't reset the PCM when I swapped the O2 sensor, but then again at 204k the cel never came on for the O2 sensor.
