Just wanted to know if a 2000 Ford Taurus 3L Engine will fit on a 2000 Ford Contour SVT..?

There were some changes made in the 2000 model year Taurus engines. Some had split port heads w/ metal intake manifolds, while some had oval port heads w/ plastic manifolds. I had an oval port motor, but decided at the time to go Hybrid. Either way, both motors can be made to work, but you'll have to do some searching to figure out which setup you want, and which parts you have on your particular motor.

I'd stay away from any engine under 2001 as they had a mix of variations.
