Yup thats right, the Corolla will be going up for sale. I want to get rid of her sometime next coming summer. That way I will get the most bang for buck out of my insurance. Its a great car, but I probably wouldnt be getting rid of it if it were a stick. It handles really nicely and has power when you need it. it is very low maitenece and very cheap to drive. Would make for a great daily driver or commuter car for anybody. 111K miles... But dont let that sway you, this car will go to 200K no problems. I swear on it. When I first got the car I had my shop teacher look it over. He said if he hadnt known any better he would have thought it only had 50K. The first owner of the car had OCD and was very maticulious about his cars, I have all of the documentation from the day the car was purchased back in 1998 brand new off the lot. Every Oil change, Tire rotation, Fluid check. everything. I am convinced for the first 68K miles of its life it never passed 4000 RPMs. My brother purchased the car with 68K miles on it and drove it through college, he took excellent care of it as well, and really only drove it to class and home on breaks. The majority of the miles are highway.
Lets get some specs down shall we?
White 1998 Toyota Corolla LE w/Gold Package
-1.8L DOHC 1ZZFE I4 120 hp @5600 RPM 122 @ 4400 RPM ft/lb tq
-30 MPG city 38 MPG highway
-Power Windows
-Power Door locks
-Cruise
-Speedo w/tach
-woodgrain trim
The good:
-New suspension
-Tein H.Tech Lowering springs
-Tokico HP Gas/liquid struts
New suspension makes for a stiff sporty ride, but doesnt break your back. Really made the car have a nice stance on the road.
-New front brakes Bendix Rotors and Duralast Pads
-New air intake system
-New Tsudo Axel-back exhaust (w/silencer included)
-newer tires
-new rear sway bar endlinks
The bad:
-Woodgrain is peeling off due to bad adheasive, I probably will just peel it all off.
-will need new front endlinks, at sellers request I will replace them if desired but they arent bad at all
-trans mount is worn out, it doesnt hurt anything mechanically, but causes for a couple of rough shifts on occasion, I will too replace this at sellers request.

I suspect with a nice set of 16's she would look pretty nice, but I just cant justify putting any more money into the car. Im saving up for my next project :D At this stage im not putting down an asking price, if you express interest and want to know more e-mail me at SiasJJ@gmail.com or PM me here on CEG. All offers within reason will be considered.
