What oxygen sensors to use

I am planning to replace my O2s as I get codes indicating slow responce from both banks. What does CEG recomned as a replacement. I did talk to bill yesterday and we came up with something, but I wanted to get the consensus opinion before I pull out my wallet. I am likeing some boschs because you can get them with up 16.5" wires, which would be perfect as I needed to extend the wires to work with my turbo headers. Thoughts?

I have had 4 Bosch O2 sensors for 2 years and 30K miles and they seem to work fine.

The only problem is as the Bank 1 Upper area is very tight, and Bosch O2 sensors are a little longer, it is harder to get them in. Some CEGers have also encountered this. I think some have had to cut the 7/8 inch crescent wrench to get it there and some had to use a smaller (and offset) O2 sensor removal tool to get to it. If I had to change the Bank 1 Upper again, I would use the shorter O2 sensor from Ford.

Buy the Denso O2's for your year. They're smaller than the Bosch and Ford O2's, and have a better resolution. Definitely a quality O2 sensor!

Denso or Ford. The ford ones in my car were actually slighter smaller than the Denso. Both are a good bit smaller than the bosch, which is important when working around our tight engines.

Meh, Bosch is OK. I got my Bank 1 upper in just fine and I have large hands.

Me too... used a normal size open end wrench too (13mm IIRC). Sucked, and my hands were torn up from rubbing on the coil pack, but hey, it worked!
