ok i got a question of how i can quiet my car down, i screwed up the exhaust by taking the cat out and puting in test pipe, i removed the stock mufflers and put in a glasspack, i need input on what i shoudl do to make it more quiet on the highway, any suggestions would help thanks

Put the cat back on... oh yea and regular mufflers too. Either that or wear earplugs. That's the only way your going to quiet that down.

i dont have the mufflers anymore, what kind should i put on it to replace them

what magnaflow mufflers are you talking about, any part numbers

Put in a highflow cat.

Replace the stock resonator with a full bodied Dynomax Ultraflow muffler.

If the rear glasspacks are not louvered (good luck) you can keep them. If not then by all means ditch them!!!

I have a standard 2.5L main cat with less than a year on it. I'd be willing to sell it for a very reasonble price.

Yes get the cat back on there i did that and had nothing but problems.Engine codes.
Magnaflow muffler part#14416.Most commenly used that i know of.Theres one other cant remember the part number.
Borla's are also a great muffler if you want your car quit without losing power.

Great mufflers i dont personally have them on my contour yet..Hopeing to replace my stock mufflers with them soon.

i'm still confused as to why you used a glasspack.
