Well yesterday, I drove about 2 1/2 hrs, to trade my 1997 Lifter Yukon for a 2000 SVT.
I came home a proud new owner.
The owner took great care of it.
Well it's 100% stock, has all the options of course, and it only has 74k miles on it. It's black with tan leather. It pulls great and is a smooth ride. The guy put SVT logos over the ford emblems but that's pretty much all that was done to it.
Now i'm on the hunt for mods. Already decided to put a sytem in it, and has all been ordered. The cowl cf hood is next, followed by rims and exhaust.
Oh yea, anybody have the info on how I can reach SVT so i can get the build number??

Welcome. 1-800-ford-svt. Have your VIN available.
In addition, familiarize yourself with the Duratec Maintenance-Read First.

There is a nylon gear in the sunroof motor asy. that tends to strip. i pulled one from a '96 in the junkyard and it has treated me well every since...

Don't bother with the front strut bar, it's mostly for looks, but a rear strut bar is good.
The Brake FAQ (http://contour.org/ceg-vb/showthread.php?t=47) has some answers for you.

Most likely an OMP strut bar.
