The name is Scott, 27 years old from Branson Mo. Currently the owner of two SVT's and previously owned a 95 SE, 97 SE and a 95 Mystique GS. I am the owner of an automotive service and repair facility in Branson Mo and I thin k all the contour owners in the area rely on me a little too much?!?
Though as far as registration goes, I am a nOOb but have been reading the board for about 5-6 years now and this site has been a big benefit to me and my apparent hobby!

the 95 se was a parts car to fix the 97 se and the mystique was for the ex old lady.......which was totalled by her one month after putting in the engine......isn't that how it works?
The 98 is my baby......had it since 60k and never once has it left me stranded. I just bought the 00 svt cause it was a good deal on ebay (paid $3800 w/93,500 showing) and planned on selling it for profit but turns out I like it too much and I swore to never sell the 98 so now I have just the two SVT's. Current fiancee has a 99 SHO so between us, we have quite the rare ford showroom going on in the garage!
Ryanblacksvt........ripley's is about a mile from my shop......we are right on the main strip in Branson!
If anyone is ever in Branson, stop in if you like......we are 76 Tire & Auto and are right on hwy 76 just west of hwy 65.

A mention of Branson, MO from John Phillips December '01 Car and Driver article, An Undertaking of Moribund Fellowship:
...Then we bused 50 miles south to hyperactive Branson, whose two-mile strip resembles those sections of Las Vegas erected without benefit of Mafia money. It's two miles of franchised-fast-food architecture, interspersed with corrugated-metal dinner theaters that resemble Air Force hangars, with a ring road dedicated to 2500-seat Evangelical Assemblies that mount their own musical and theatrical presentations, lightening the flocks of whatever fiscal load the Chamber of Commerce might have missed. The Creator must endorse this scheme, too, because His assistance would be essential in two of Branson's more popular presentations: "WELK, LIVE ON STAGE!" as one of the billboards puts it, plus "A CLOSER WALK WITH PATSY CLINE!"
Nearby, naturally, is the world's largest banjo, plus live ostrich races, lime funnel cakes, and Tony Orlando. A popular Branson museum displays a brick of sod from Lawrence Welk's home in North Dakota, and a 1936 newspaper ad that reads: "Jesse James, notorious Missouri outlaw, used to ride a horse in 1880. Now Jesse rides in the new 1937 Oldsmobile—The Car That Has Everything." ...

been alot of changes since that article!!!! Before too long, once the bible generation starts to depart this life, we expect to see branson boom into a vegas style casino town. This upsets some but excites others....mostly ppl of my age since the money it will bring will help us all to prosper longer.
